Since its introduction in 1992, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has revolutionized the sport-utility vehicle market and won numerous accolades worldwide. Leading the path carved by its predecessors, the 2011 Grand Cherokee continues to set a global standard with its on-road refinement, off-road mastery and overall performance.

Built on an all-new chassis, this new Grand Cherokee has been stretched out to open up more passenger room, mostly in the second row. It's 3 inches wider than before and rides on a wheelbase that's 5.3 inches longer. The result is an additional 4 inches of rear knee- and legroom, according to Jeep. It also promises a greatly improved interior, with higher-quality materials and new features.


The standard engine is a flexible fuel 3.5-liter Pentastar V-6, improving the fuel economy up to 11 percent for Long Island Jeep fans. The new Grand Cherokee delivers 280 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque, keeping our Long Island Jeep drivers in control. Jeep Grand Cherokee models equipped with a HEMI V-8 engine have 3.5-inch dual chromed exhaust tips, and those with the V-6 engine have a 3-inch single exhaust. More...
